Dawn and I were living in Seattle at the time of the Nisqually quake. I was asleep and Dawn was at work when it hit. I clearly remember feeling the ground shake and since we lived in the bottom floor of an apartment building, I figured I better run for the safest place in the building, the stairwell. I almost got there too, when I realized that I was still in my tighty whiteys. I compromised with standing in a door way. :-)
