My Gear

Having read and studied the thru-hiker's methods for ultra-light backpacking, I have tried to lower my pack weight considerably. I think it has paid off in more miles I am able to hike and not being as sore and tired when I do get to camp. I do not consider myself a thru but I am sure that if I was to attempt a thru-hike that I would find lots of other ways to lower my overall pack weight. The weights listed below are either the published weights of each item or a rough estimate as I don't have a scale. Not all items are listed and this list may change over time. All items listed are for my summer and warm weather kit.
